Buenos Aires, Argentina - The Minister of Oil and Minerals, Mr. Amir Salem Al-Aidarous, opened on Tuesday, 06 October 2009 the Yemen LNG booth at the 24th World Gas Conference; the most important global event for the gas industry being organized in Buenos Aires, between 5–9 October.

Yemen’s delegation to the WGC brings together a team of delegates from Yemen LNG Company and a delegation from the Yemeni government headed by H.E. the Minister and comprised of representatives from the Ministry of Oil and Mineral, Yemen Gas Company and the General Authority for Social Security and Pension.

Built around the concept of Yemeni architecture, the Yemen LNG booth showcases the project and achievements made so far in preparation for the export of the first LNG cargo which will put Yemen in the world’s map of LNG producers and exporters.

Major players and suppliers to the gas industry showcase their products, services and areas of expertise directly to the most influential collection of gas professionals ever united amongst all the conference delegates and visitors.
