Sponsorships Programme

Yemen LNG Sponsorship Programme is a financial contribution allocated for the purpose of supporting an event, activity or programme that would have a substantive positive impact on the community. Yemen LNG’s policy with respect to sponsorships is therefore to support quality initiatives that overall address the general public or a wide spectrum of audience, and contribute positively to the development of youth and civil society. The criteria for selection of projects include strength and likely duration of impact on the communities they are serving, sustainability, and coherence with the Company’s business, social and environmental values, and ethical standards. Priority will be given to proposals and events that would contribute positively to the development of education, economy, culture, national art, national music, and sports.

How to Apply:

• Completely fill out the Sponsorships Application Form. 
   
• Send the application form with your proposal and supporting documents to: PR@yemenlng.com or by mail at P.O. Box (15347). 
   
• Receipt of your application will be acknowledged by Programme Coordinator. We will contact you if more information is required in order to consider your application and we will respond to let you know whether your application has been accepted. To allow time to consider your application, it should be submitted two months in advance of event. 

Previous Successful Initiatives

Since the launch of the Sponsorship Programme in 2006, Yemen LNG has been able to implement in partnership with non-profitable civil society organizations a number of successful initiatives. Below are a few examples:

A ‘Braille’ Printer with Al-Aman Blind Association


A printer press provided to Al-Aman Blind Association to cover the shortage of printed curricular books and materials for the blind study institutes and centers in Sana’a, Aden, Taiz, Mukalla, Ibb and Dhamar.

 

Leaders Speak English & Engagement Initiative with YLDF (Youth Leadership Development Foundation)

A one-year extensive training program for young male and female participants including from Shabwa and Marib on NGO management, project management, and extensive English language and computer skills training.

 

Co-sponsorship of ‘Yemen Smile’

An initiative by ‘Yemen Smile’ – an organization that relies entirely on donations; to help Yemeni families, primarily children, with free cleft palate and other reconstructive plastic surgeries and train local medical professionals to perform these procedures.
