Yemen LNG Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policy is to conduct all project activities in a responsible manner that protects the environment and the health and safety of employees, visitors, contractors and the public. This policy includes continuous improvement of performance, prevention of pollution of marine and terrestrial environments and compliance with national environmental regulations and international standards.

The determination of Yemen LNG to achieve the highest standards in the field of health, safety and the environment manifests itself in training programs, consultation and through implementation of internal and external audits.
In order to measure compliance with this policy, Yemen LNG has developed a suite of leading and lagging indicators against which success is measured. In addition, regular HSE audits are carried out.
Security
The Company’s commitment to security stems from basic core values; the Company's code of conduct and business ethics. These core values include professionalism, respect for employees and the company's stakeholders and a permanent concern for health, safety and the protection of the environment.
The goal of Yemen LNG in terms of security is, in liaison with the relevant Yemeni security agencies, to protect the Company's employees, assets, information, integrity and reputation. The security and protection of the company's employees is the overriding priority of all business activity. Yemen LNG ensures that all staff involved in security matters on behalf of the company conduct themselves with the utmost professionalism and integrity.
All security guidelines and procedures are tightly controlled and strict adherence is required by all personnel involved in the project. While Yemen LNG implements the necessary security measures in order to protect its employees and local personnel, every effort is being made to minimise any impact on local communities and population centres.
