Appreciating the significance of the challenges associated with water issues in the country, Yemen LNG has been honored to participate with a golden sponsorship of the National Conference for Management and Development of Water Resources which took place in Sana’a from 15 to 17 January 2011.

The conference was addressed by the Prime Minister Ali Mujawwar and Minister of Water Abdul-Rahman Al-Eryani who emphasized the significance of the issue which is amongst the government’s top ten priorities.

The conference was highly attended by top-ranking government officials and experts, who gathered to look into ways that can apply integrated water resources management solutions to address the severe water shortage in the country.

Yemen LNG supports each year a range of local and national sustainable development initiatives which the Company regards integral to the business.
