Sponsored by Yemen LNG, a three-day awareness workshop on reproductive health and motherhood was organized by the Yemeni Women Union from 9 to 11 January.

The workshop drew participation of over 150 women from 3 rural villages in Shabwa Governorate.

Among the issues raised at the workshop are safe motherhood, pregnancy, childbirth, and post-natal, breastfeeding, family planning and related health issues that are crucial for the safety of mothers and children.
