H.E. Minister of Human Rights, Mrs. Hooria Mshhour, received the Yemen LNG General Manager, François RAFIN. The Minister highlighted the importance of the private sector's involvement in reinforcing human rights in Yemen which, according to H.E. is "a responsibility of all". The Minister received a cheque of $25,000 from Yemen LNG sponsoring the ministry's initiative of "Role of Social Responsibility of Private Sector in Reinforcing Human Rights".

Yemen LNG has been actively engaged in various actions of Corporate Social Responsibility and for the benefit of human rights. In particular, Yemen LNG has been sponsoring for many years the local NGO SHS which is based in Aden and who was awarded the prestigious Nansen Refugee Award in October 2011 from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
