24 March 2014 Seoul - The Vice Minister of Oil and Minerals HE Ahmed Basuraih and the General Manager of Yemen LNG Mr. Jacques Azibert, opened Monday 24 March the Yemen LNG pavilion at the Gastech Conference and Exhibition being held in Seoul, South Korea, from 24 to 27 March. Uniting over 10,000 industry experts and conference delegates, the Gastech Conference and Exhibition is one of the world’s leading gas and LNG conference and exhibitions. Yemen LNG Company's pavilion was inspired by the iconic architecture of the Old Sana’a City, attracting thereby a large number of conference visitors including high ranking officials. Yemen LNG Manager, Mr. Jacques Azibert, emphasised that Yemen LNG is attending this global conference "to show to the world both the versified and rich cultural heritage of Yemen as well as to reaffirm Yemen LNG's strong reputation as a reliable energy supplier worldwide". At the margins of the 4-day Conference, Vice Minister Basuraih, along with a delegation from the Ministry of Oil and Minerals, Yemen Gas Company and the General Authority for Social Security and Pensions, held a series of meetings with a number of Yemen LNG shareholders including Kogas, Hyundai and SK, discussing developments to the LNG industry and future investment opportunities. Yemen LNG Company started LNG production in November 2009 and it rapidly became one of the safest and most reliable companies of the LNG industry.
