H.E. Minister of Human Rights Houria Mashhour received in Sana’a today Yemen LNG General Manager, Mr. Jacques Azibert. The meeting reviewed the role of the private sector and its efforts in supporting NGOs and the rights of communities for access to education, jobs, and development opportunities.

During the meeting, Mr. Azibert handed to the Ministry on behalf of Yemen LNG a check worth US$30,000 in support of the Ministry’s 2014 development efforts.

It is worth noting that Yemen LNG continues to be actively involved in various social responsibility initiatives for the benefit of human rights. In particular, the Company signed last February with the Society of Humanitarian Solidarity (SHS) a three-year agreement to provide support and primary services to refugees who land in Al-Ayn Bay, close to Balhaf, Shabwah Governorate, before their transfer to permanent refugee camps.
