General Manager of Yemen LNG, Jacques Azibert signed on Monday, 15 September 2014 a memorandum of understanding with Mr. Muhannad Al-Sayani, Chairman of the General Authority for Antiques & Museums. Under the signed MoU, Yemen LNG sponsors a GOAM project to document the recently discovered tombs and mummies in Juban, Al-Dhalea Governorate.

In line with Yemen LNG’s keenness to contribute to the documentation and preservation of cultural heritage, this project is yet another evidence of the Company’s commitment to its corporate social responsibility. At the signing ceremony, General Manager of Yemen LNG reiterated management’s interest in supporting such projects in the future. In his turn, Mr. Al-Sayani expressed gratitude to Yemen LNG for its continuous support to the preservation of the cultural heritage and archaeology in Yemen.

The expedition is expected to last about four weeks.
