Yemen LNG confirms that today, Thursday 18th of December, 2014 at around 19:00, 2 blasts sounded, offshore and onshore outside the Balhaf Plant, coming from 2 rocket-launched explosive devices. There were no casualties or damage. The Balhaf Plant remains in operation. Security measures have been reinforced in order to ensure vigilant surveillance of the plant and vicinity. In addition, Yemen LNG is working with the Yemeni Authorities to take further measures around Balhaf in order to ensure maximum security of people and assets on site.
