The Ministry of Human Rights, in coordination with and support from a number of public and private organisations, organized in Sana’a today a comprehensive consultative meeting on the Role of Social Responsibility in the private sector to reinforce society and human rights practices.

The meeting attended by the Minister of Trade and Industry, and representatives of the private sector, emphasized the need to establish and expand social responsibility programs within the private sector.

In a keynote address, Minister of Human Rights Horiah Mashhour emphasized the significant role the private sector can play in laying the foundations for good governance and establishing partnerships with government and non-governmental entities centered on integrity and transparency. The Minister invited the private sector to expand the scope of development programs with sustainable impact mainly on health, education and water. Minister Mashhour thanked in this regard Yemen LNG for its contribution in sponsoring the event.
