Yemen LNG signed in Sana’a today a financing agreement with the Shabwa Public Authority for Rural Electrification (PARE). Yemen LNG brings guaranteed financing to PARE for the completion of an electrification project which will benefit 2,000  inhabitants in 5 villages in Al-Dhahera district in Shabwa.

The project implemented by PARE includes the installation of a 50,000 meter network of new electricity lines as well as the upgrade of the existing network.

Speaking on the occasion, PARE Chairman Abdulla Alaji commented that, “PARE is happy to work again with Yemen LNG for such significant community projects which extend the electrical grid to new villages in Shabwa.”
